The complete TransAlgarve MTB Holiday is a challenging cycling route designed around the Grande Route 13. The GR13 is also known as the Via Algarviana and finds its history in the Mozarabian Path, a footpath once used by religious pilgrims.
Cycle the Via Algarviana with your MTB over double and single tracks. old cork oak trees and through green eucalyptus forests. Stop in a small village for coffee or lunch and meet the friendly Portuguese who will warmly invite you to the Algarve.
Every day you drive 45 to 80 km and between 900 - 1500 altimeters. Local asphalt roads with little traffic connect to the next off-road section.
